About Chakras

Chakras are Energy Centers in the human body. There are seven major chakras. They also correspond to auras, glands, and Chi Energy Centers.

Each Chakra has a specific purpose, and is connected to specific parts of the body. When disease occurs, it is connected to one of the Chakras, and can be emotionally or mentally based.

Open Chakras signify strength and balance, whereas closed or weak chakras can signify diseases or mental limitations.

Certain Gemstones and Crystals help to open and strengthen certain chakras.

Are Chakras for real? Do Gemstones really help?

Think about this:

1. Ingesting minerals and vitamins has both short and long term effects on the body. Even tiny amounts can make large changes.

2. If you and a friend were to each hold large magnets of opposite polarity, as you approached each other, you would be attracted due to the magnetic force. Though you cannot see it, you can feel it, and it is real.

3. If you go out into the sun, your skin will engage in a series of reactions and will darken (tan). Though it is millions of miles away, the sun has an affect on you.

Though you cannot see effects, and you do not eat them, Gemstones and Crystals have been used for thousands of years in many different countries for their healing properties. They work on the basis of an energy that we do not have tools to measure. Each stone has certain minerals, metals, or properties about it that result in it's color, texture, and type of energy. The recorded effects of these stones are the same whether they were used in Ancient Rome, China, India, or South America. Modern Western Medicine does not recognize these properties, but throughout the world and throughout history, they have been used with great success.

As with any ailment, no one treatment should be taken to the exclusion of others. Healing requires medicine of all types, positive attitude, peaceful state of mind, and rest. Peace and health to you, always.
